The ‘I Am Spartacus’ Project

A blog for a journalism project…

Sajan Rai

“I won’t ever contribute to society in a way to push it forwards, to make it work, because I’m pretty focused on the arts. I won’t be making big decisions, cleaning up mess or sorting out lives.

I’m just a distraction from all that, decorating people’s lives with a cartoon, a book, a painting, some noise, some B-movies. It’s a pretty important job actually. Means i’m totally dispensable but also irreplaceable.
I’m a stereotypical artist, but better than the rest.”
